The Controller

Our core offering is what we call The Controller. It’s literally what it sounds like. We control your core financial reporting. We do this via the first 4 steps of our Restaurant Operating System.

  • 01 — CAPTURE: POS, AP, payroll, inventory, banks and operational data

  • 02 — ORGANIZE: GL, location structure, reporting architecture and controls

  • 03 — REPORT: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, key metrics and variance analysis

  • 04 — ALERT: Exceptions, unusual trends, cash issues and compliance deadlines

What does this look like for you? We step in in place of an AP clerk, a bookkeeper or other staff you may have and ensure the bills get paid, with your approval. All inputs into the accounting system from auto drafts, to other banking, sales inputs, labor inputs, CapX and depreciation and journal entries are handled by our team. This results in an output package of traditional financial statements and not as traditional metric reports and analysis on your key operational metrics that truly determine your profitability. Moreover, all this happens on a schedule. The reporting package is available on a set day after period end closing each month.
